I thought the truck was ready for the journey, but driving through Morocco revealed a few problems, inspired new ideas and made further improvements necessary. Changes to the interior, the roof rack, the folding underride guard, sand ladders as side protection and much more threw our schedule off course. By now, however, we are cleaning, sorting and packing.
Soon the truck will be shipped from Hamburg to Halifax, Canada. Then the red line on the map at the top of the blog will turn black, and our journey from North to South America can begin. We look forward to your tips and suggestions – and to many exciting encounters worth writing about. © n. g.
