Basquiat´s parents came from haiti and shortly before his untimely death in 1988 he was here in new orleans and had probably a special relationship to the south of the United States. © n.g.

emilio martinez

I discovered emilio´s art, like those of the most other artists here in america, on his facebook site. When we were about to reach miami and i announced our coming and he invited us spontaneously to celebrate thanksgiving with his family. look here

Emilio was born in honduras. many years ago, when the living conditions were too insecure, his mother came with her six children to miami. Since his early childhood emilio draws with paints and is the only one in the family with that “passion” for art. Emilio introduced us to a number of his artfriends in miami, absolutely gorgeous. Dear emilio, thanks for your friendship. © n.g.
